What you can expect from the job

Develop and implement maintenance strategies tailored to the organization’s needs.

Analyze equipment data and historical maintenance records to design effective maintenance plans.

Configure and customize the SAP PM module to align with the organization’s maintenance strategy.

Set up modules for managing work orders, preventive maintenance, asset management, and more.

Classify and catalog all equipment, assigning unique identifiers and creating maintenance schedules.

Ensure assets remain in peak working condition to extend their lifespan.

Create schedules for routine inspections, servicing, and repairs to minimize unexpected breakdowns.

Implement a proactive approach to address potential issues before they escalate.

Manage work orders, prioritize tasks, assign them to maintenance teams, and track progress.

Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities to keep operations running smoothly.

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including equipment history, maintenance costs, and performance metrics.

Generate reports for analysis and decision-making purposes.

Provide training to maintenance teams and end-users on SAP PM functionalities.

Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for any issues related to the PM module.

Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Recommend and implement best practices based on industry standards.

Work closely with other SAP module consultants and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across the SAP landscape.

Collaborate with business users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Strong configuration hands on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance.

Must have implementation and support experience in SAP PM/EAM.

Experience in Integrating SAP PM with other SAP modules and external systems, working closely with Cross- Functional Teams and External Parties.

Strong knowledge of Business Processes.

Good understanding of functional/domain knowledge.

Implementation Methodology.

Hands on experience in configuration.

Management of Technical objects including serial number management.

Bill of Materials (BOM).

Classes and characteristics installed base Measurement Point and Documents.

Warranty management and Maintenance Planning, Work orders.

Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Processing, Notification Types.

Processing Refurbishment Tasks, Task List Management.

Plant Maintenance in the Organizational Structures of Accounting.

Processing Maintenance projects.

Controlling Functions in Plant Maintenance.

Data Migration with LSMW/BDC.

Expected to have experience in Client Facing roles and proven delivery quality under tight project timelines.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

Experience in S/4 HANA will be added advantage.

Knowledge on ABAP debugging.

SAP PM Certification will be added advantage.

Knowledge on Integration Modules like MM / QM / PP / FI-CO will be an added advantage.

Bachelor s degree or Preferably Engineering.

Minimum two e2e Implementation Project along with experience in Support / Roll out / Upgrade Projects.

5-7 Yrs. of Relevant experience.

Willingness to travel international/domestic.

Knowledge of ISMS Principles and best practices.
