About Client

Client

The client is a global leader in information and communications technology solutions, with headquarters in Saudi Arabia and regional offices in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Business Requirement

To be compliant with the first phase of the e-invoicing laws by the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) of Saudi Arabia, the client needed an electronic solution to generate invoices in a structured and specified electronic format.

CCS Solution

Given that the client has SAP Business One as their ERP, CCS SAP Experts created a custom add-on for generating QR codes which would return the details specified by the e-invoicing regulations (Vendor Name, TRN No., Invoice Amount, Tax Amount) upon scanning it.

The second phase necessitates the integration of the client’s electronic solution for generating electronic invoices with GAZT’s systems.

Business Benefits

Maintain compliance with the e-invoicing laws laid out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The client can generate and store tax invoices in a structured format using an electronic solution, implying no direct engagement with the tax authority.
