What you can expect from the job:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with more than 3 years of experience in software development projects, particularly within agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have strong data analytical skills and a proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and gather detailed project requirements.

Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions.

Prioritize, translate business requirements into product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.

Conduct end user interviews and document their business processes.

Utilize analytical skills to interpret business data into meaningful insights to aid decision making process.

Analyze reports, and data visualizations to validate their effectiveness.

Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing timely updates on project progress.

Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Develop user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users.

Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

What will help you do the job well:

Must-have skills/ characteristics

More than 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

Proven experience working in agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis techniques.

Other desirable skills/ characteristics

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.

Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Knowledge in tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile frameworks.

Willingness to travel – domestic/ international

Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.
