The client is an established media organization and publishers of one of the world’s most circulated newspapers and they own about 40 print and online publications, FM radio stations and television channels. As of 2021, their ongoing IT partnership with CCS spans over 35 years.
The client used a web content management system (WCMS) – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) – and had their site hosted on AWS Cloud for the end-to-end management of their digital content. The site however had loading issues and frequent interruptions when accessed by users.
CCS Cloud Engineers carried out an in-depth troubleshooting and analyzed the root cause of the issues faced by the client.
The outages and performance issues were attributed to many outdated files, user logs and cache data that were not cleared.
CCS Engineers automated the periodic AEM server cache cleanup using Shell scripts and monitored the site’s loading stability and performance.
Automated the clearing of cache data and logs and reduced manual intervention in server administration.
Optimized the site’s loading time and user accessibility.
Ensured the stable working of the site and resolved interruptions.
Server storage space was maintained properly and resulted in a healthy server uptime.
